Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Fuse is operated by Divine Light Labs ("we", "us"). When you use Fuse you ("you") are entering an agreement with Divine Light Labs.
2. What Fuse is
Fuse is a personal accountability service delivered over iMessage. We send you a daily voice note pointed at a goal you tell us about, you reply with your commitment, and we follow up. Some of the content is generated by an AI language model and an AI voice synthesizer; we say this plainly so it isn't a surprise.
3. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to use Fuse. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware you are using it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13; if you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will remove their data.
4. Messaging consent
By texting our iMessage number you agree to receive messages from Fuse, including a daily morning drop, an evening check-in, occasional follow-ups, and one-off operational messages. Message frequency varies (typically 2-4 per day). Standard iMessage rules apply; you don't pay per message.
You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask for help by replying HELP or by emailing [email protected].
5. Acceptable use
When you use Fuse, you agree not to:
- Use it to pursue a goal that involves harming yourself or anyone else.
- Use it to harass, deceive, or impersonate another person.
- Use it to send us content you don't have the right to send.
- Try to extract or reverse-engineer the underlying prompts, voice models, or system behavior.
- Resell, repackage, or scrape the service.
We can pause or end your access if we reasonably believe you have done any of the above.
6. Stakes and payments
Fuse offers an optional "stakes" feature where you can place a financial commitment behind a goal. Stakes are processed through Stripe Checkout. The specific stake amount, success criteria, proof requirements, and what happens if you don't follow through are shown to you before you confirm payment. We don't withdraw money outside that flow.
If a stake is lost (you don't deliver the agreed proof in the agreed window), the funds are either released to a charity, returned net of fees, or applied as the conversation describes at the time of opt-in. We don't keep lost stakes as profit.
7. AI-generated content
The morning drops, evening replies, and other conversational responses are produced by language and voice models. They are written to support you, not to give medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Fuse is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or financial advisor. If you are in crisis, contact a real human professional or call 988 in the US.
8. Termination
You can stop using Fuse at any time by replying STOP in the iMessage thread, or by emailing us and asking to be fully removed. We can stop sending you messages at any time, with or without warning, if we believe continuing would be unsafe, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
9. Disclaimers
Fuse is provided "as is." We make no promise that any particular outcome will result from using it. The product is in active development and behavior can change. We work hard to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uptime.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Divine Light Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Fuse. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars (USD $100).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a meaningful change we will say so in the iMessage thread or by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Fuse after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless required otherwise by your local law.
